TUTTI I VINCITORI DELLA NONA EDIZIONE DEI DORIAN AWARD

L’associazione GALECA, composta da oltre 200 giornalisti e critici LGBT di Stati Uniti, Canada e Regno Unito ha proclamato i vincitori della nona edizione dei Dorian Award, i premi che comprendono ben 26 categorie televisive e cinematografiche di opere che possono avere esaltato il pubblico LGBT.

Trionfatore di questa nona edizione è “Chiamami col tuo nome” che si guadagna il premio come FILM DELL’ANNO e come MIGLIOR ATTORE DELL’ANNO, Timothée Chalamet, che vince anche come STAR EMERGENTE, Michael Stuhlbarg (il fantastico padre) vince come ATTORE NON PROTAGONISTA, tutte categorie allargate a qualsiasi titolo indipendentemente dalle tematiche che affronta. Ovviamente il film vince anche il premio MIGLIOR FILM LGBT  DELL’ANNO.

120 battiti al minuto” vince come FILM ESTERO DELL’ANNO. “La forma dell’acqua” in gara contro film come “Blade Runner 2049” e “Dunkerque” vince come FILM ESTETIZZANTE DELL’ANNO, un premio che onora una produzione di straordinaria bellezza, dall’art direction alla cinematografia.

God’s Own Country” il bellissimo film gay di Francis Lee si prende il significativo premio di FILM PIU’ INGIUSTAMENTE TRASCURATO DELL’ANNO, (in Italia speriamo almeno in Netflix). Il premio simile nella categoria TV viene assegnato a “American Gods”, serie effettivamente un po’ ostica anche se visivamente bellissima.

La serie “Big Little Lies“, sebbene assai povera in contenuti gay, dimostra di essere molto gradita dal pubblico LGBT ottenendo ben due premi, come MIGLIOR SERIE DRAMMATICA DELL’ANNO e come MIGLIOR ATTORE TV DELL’ANNO (Alexander Skaarsgård)

Il premio STAR SENZA TEMPO viene assegnato quest’anno all’attrice sicuramente più amata dal pubblico gay, Meryl Streep, “la cui carriera esemplare è caratterizzata da personalità, saggezza e intelligenza”
